Childcare workers play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow. Teachers at FHA inspire children to explore new skills while supporting their educational needs. They interact with children daily, encourage their physical and emotional development and adapting to their changing needs. We are looking for enthusiastic, high-quality childcare teachers who understand the value of Early Childhood Education.
Job Responsibilities
Develop meaningful lesson plans that are tailored to interests of the group and focus on play, forming connections with children, and support a developmental curriculum.
Facilitate a classroom experience that reflects FHA’s values and ongoing training.
Care for the physical, mental, and emotional needs of children while providing competent direct supervision to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom experience.
Exercise discernment in matters of confidentiality and communication.
Track physical and developmental progress and offer documented reports to families.
Intentionally engage children, form relationships through bonding, act as an advocate for
children.
Maintain classroom inventories for supplies and materials.
Adhere to all sanitation guidelines and health procedures.
